Polenta with Truffle and Porcini mushrooms

Polenta is an Italian traditional dish, very simple and healthy that can be a real treat paired with the right ingredients, so we want to propose it flavoured with truffles and topped with a superb Porcini mushrooms sauce, your senses will be conquered.

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 200 grams of Polenta with summer truffle
  • 50 grams of Porcini mushrooms sauce
  • One tablespoon of milk
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Preparation:

Put 900 ml of cold water on low heat, slowly pour polenta, stirring with a wooden spoon. Add a pinch of salt and cook slowly for about 40 minutes, stirring constantly in a clockwise direction. Meanwhile heat the sauce in a pan with milk and extra virgin olive oil. Pour the polenta on the plate, let cool for a few minutes and then sprinkle with Porcini mushrooms sauce and sauted diced pancetta to taste.

Our advice:

The Porcini Mushrooms sauce is also excellent to easily season pasta, especially a good egg pasta, string it out with milk and butter and use it to toss egg Strozzapreti, finally add hard dairy cheese, you will have a great meal!
